    2. Qlik Dev Group - Hacking The Visual Norm

There are so many visualization tools out there today, most with a pre-made set of charts. But trying to wrangle your data to fit (uncomfortably) into the default charts is not the right mindset. Adjust the visual to your data, not the other way around. You don't necessarily have to be a code wizard to let your creativity run free.... The Qlik Dev Group brings Nadieh Bremer (Visual Cinnamon) to London to share with us her thoughts and experiences on data visualisation.

      Campus Meetup: Women 'Manbassador Social'

The Campus Meetup: Women community aims to empower, inspire and drive gender-balanced representation across Campus and the broader start-up community. However, there are often limited opportunities for men to engage in the conversation and acquire the skills they need to be successful male allies.

Our first social event of 2017 looks to address this with our Manbassador Social on Tuesday 7th March. Join us for some drinks and nibbles and hear from both women and men on the importance of us working together to address the gender imbalance in the start-up community.

    1. An Introduction to Presentation Design & Storytelling

Startups rely on presentations and their storytelling ability to pitch their ideas to investors, prospective co-founders/employees and users. Being able to make a good presentation is crucial whether you're a startup pitching for money, a student in a group project, or an employee in a client meeting. But the design of presentations, how they can be used to tell better stories, and ways to design them quickly when time is tight, rarely gets much attention. That's why in this session will cover:
      • How to structure different presentations
      • How to design engaging, persuasive and compelling slides
      • How to design at speed
