Campus Experts Summit: Buffer: Fireside chat with J. Gascoigne

Campus Experts Summit: Buffer is a week of talks, workshops and networking with the Buffer team. Come to meet them, discover their work culture and learn how they're changing the way companies share content on social media.

From the moment Joel Gascoigne founded Buffer in 2011, he was fascinated with the future of what work could be like. He set off to build a company that questioned the status quo, supported employees personally and professionally, created a culture of positivity, and encouraged teammates to work how and where they are the happiest.

Join in for a fireside chat with Joel to explore his learnings from the past 6 years and look ahead at the future. He’ll share his vision for what work will look like down the road, his experiences growing a non-traditional startup, and what’s next for Buffer.

The conversation with Joel will be moderated by Sofia Benjumea, Head of Campus Madrid, and will end with an open Q&A — so come with questions!

The event will take place in the ground floor of the Campus Madrid Café.

IMPORTANT: the venue has limited space, so please come on time. Open entrance until filled to capacity.
Please, think twice before registering if you are not sure that you'll be able to attend the event.
Other people would be happy to use that space.

The event will be held in english.

    2. Docker Madrid

Meet other developers and ops engineers using Docker. Docker is an open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications. Consisting of Docker Engine, a portable, lightweight runtime and packaging tool, and Docker Hub, a cloud service for sharing applications and automating workflows, Docker enables apps to be quickly assembled from components and eliminates the friction between development, QA, and production environments. As a result, IT can ship faster and run the same app, unchanged, on laptops, data center VMs, and any cloud.

    3. Campus Meetups

      Agenda:

      -18.15 a 18.30 Registro y bienvenida
      -18.30 a 19.00 Charla con Arantxa Unda
-19.00 a 19.15 Presentación de dinámica y formación de grupos
      -19.15 a 20.00 Trabajo en equipos y networking
