Startup Zone
Google's program for early-stage startups.
Watch videoDesigned for you to succeed
Startup Zone is a program for early stage startups, who are just beggining their journey.
We focus on 4 aspects of a startup business during the 12 weeks of the program:
- Product development (value proposition, validation and user experience);
- Business model;
- Growth strategy;
- Pitch training.
The program offers content, through workshops, talks and mentoring, that can be applied to new businesses right away, so that it contributes to the startup journey and helps them evolve into their next growth stage. Aside from that, participants will have access to the Google for Startups full network, including Google experts, founders from the current and past Residency classes and our content providing partners.
Program's benefits
-
Access to exclusive content, presented by Google experts and the Google for Startups community.
-
Talks and workshops focused on early stage startups.

The exchange amongst entrepreneurs was fantastic, as it was a group of people that really connected to support and cheer for each other. The mentoring sessions, especially the ones held in 1:1 format, were also incredible!

Selection Criteria
Startup Zone is a Google program that aims to support startups, which means businesses that are developing innovative, high impact solutions through technology. This specific program is for startups in early stages of development.
Below are the minimum criteria for joining the program:
- The startup must already have a functional MVP that has been launched to the market. That means the startup has a product or service already available, ready for customer/user acquisition. There is no minimum requirement related to revenue already being generated;
- The startup must have one person fully dedicated to the technology behind the product/service - ideally, a CTO;
- The startup must be based in Brazil and available to be in São Paulo during the 12 weeks of the program;
- The startup's founders and employees must be willing to engage and contribute to the growth of the Campus community and the entrepreneurial ecosystem;
- All founders and employees must be over 18 years of age.
Applications for the next class will be open soon. Keep an eye out for our newsletter.
The program facilitates the connection between founders in different stages, which is great for knowledge and experience exchange. Aside from the community built, we were able to explore many new business opportunities because we were in a Google program.

My startup was selected. Does that mean it is now a Google partner?
No. Becoming a Campus member or taking place in the Startup Zone program means your startup is a part of the Campus community, but that doesn't mean it is offically associated with Google or supported by Google in any capacity. We ask that you be mindful of how you describe your relationship with Campus/Google and, please, do not use our logo our any other brand element in your online and offline communications.
By the end of the program, if the startup meets the minimum requirements to graduate the program, we will provide a participation certificate and share guidelines of how your relationship with Google can be publicly announced.
