Being mindful means being present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. Practicing mindfulness and meditation has many benefits, especially in a dynamic startup environment. It can can help you:

Deniz Barisik is an Export Partnerships Manager working in Google’s EMEA headquarters in Dublin. In his spare time, he leads meditation sessions for other Googlers to help them manage stress, increase happiness and boost productivity.
